Geocache Description:

The BT or Borrowdale Triangle is a 3 mile walk, taking in Cat Gill, Walla Crag and Ashness Bridge and incorporating 10 caches.

The highest point of the walk is Walla Crag, which is just over 1200 feet. You can expect good paths for the whole journey, though Cat Gill is rough under foot and steep, so good strong footwear is strongly recommended. Once Cat Gill is completed, if done in a clockwise direction, the paths from Walla Crag, and are downhill the whole way.
One or two of the co-ordinates may be out a little, I have checked them 3 times and each time they have been different, so please bear with me.
You are looking for a clip & lock box.
If you wish to visit Ashness Bridge for the obligatrory photographs and a bit of lunch, continue along the path and through the gate or if you wish to carry on to BT 8, take the gate on right, go down the hill to join the return path.
This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
