In Memory: Hillside SQ Traditional Cache

The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project started by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours. Michigan law states that you are only permitted to visit cemeteries dawn to dusk through out the state unless posted.

As I continue to work on my own family genealogy, I am reminded that these are more than just names on markers, but were real people--working, loving and living in these communities and have all left a legacy and impact in some way. This cemetery looks small but surprised us by its size. We had fun listening to all the cranes calling out to each other. Please be sure to rehide cache well.
