Der Cache gehört zu einer Reihe von Tradis entlang der Strecke von Wittstock nach Kyritz (teils nur Landstraße, teils nur Radweg). Zwischen dem ersten und dem letzten hier von uns gelegten Cache liegen etwas mehr als 20 km, die Naturfreunde durch eine schöne ländliche Gegend führen. Da das Suchen nicht sehr schwierig sein dürfte, so denken wir, könnte dies eine erholsame Tagesradtour sein.
Scharfenberg ist ein Ortsteil Wittstocks. In dieser Gegend fand im Dreißigjährigen Krieg (1618 -1648) eine der entscheidenden Schlachten statt. Geschichtsfreunde können mehr darüber in Wittstocks Museen Alte Bischofsburg erfahren.
Cycling from W. to K. - Ciao Scharfenberg
The cache belongs to a range of simple tradis along the route from Wittstock to Kyritz (partly road only, partly cycle path only). There are slightly more than 20 km between the first and the last of our caches. Nature lovers can enjoy the beautiful rural area. We think, this could be a relaxing day trip by bicycle, because seeking the caches should not be very difficult.
Scharfenberg is an urban district of Wittstock. One of the deciding battles of the Thirty Year War (1618 - 1648) took place in this area. Lovers of history can learn more about this in the Museums of the Old Bishop`s castle in Wittstock.
