On the evening of April 1st, 2011, I received 2 geocaching DNF logs on our sLEEp inn Travel Bug Hotel stating that the second stage of the multi-cache is missing. How can that be? I wondered. Was this someone's idea of an April Fool's joke? Afterall, the ammo can was locked to the tree. Soon thereafter I disabled the cache until I could check on the situation. Sadly, when I went to the park the next day, all I found was the lock shown above. Interestingly, the lock was still locked, but the ammo can was nowhere to be found.

As much as I would love to replace this cache with another Ammo Can sized Travel Bug cache, I fear that it may some day suffer the same fate. Worse yet, someone's travel bugs or geocoins may come up missing. Fortunately a recent finder picked up all the Travel Bugs that were in the cache at the time.

This cache is being placed in memorium of that once secure Travel Bug Hotel. The posted coordinates will take you to where that multi-cache began and you will need to look around to find the new cache container I have placed in its place. You search radius shall not exceed 50 feet.
