Geocache Description:

This accessible cache is an easy find, good for first time searchers and children. It is on the grounds of a historic building still in active use. This is a lovely, peaceful setting, and there are stone benches appropriate for meditation and prayer.

Hermon Presbyterian is a simple church built in 1874. The original higher steeple was destroyed in a storm and replaced in 1895. A later small addition to the back corner added bathrooms without compromising the historic structure which is on the Montgmery County historic register.

Consult the plaques by the front door for more details.

The church has given permission for this cache to be placed on its grounds.
