Altitude 780 ft approx. Terrain rating 3. Multiple paths at different levels in the wood make this more of a challenge, GPS errors don't help, especially when the sky is obscured by the tree canopy during the summer. You need to be persistent!
Cache is a small white container, with log pages inside.
Most walkers park at the Old Racecourse public car park. There are many paths, some very steep pushing the terrain rating up to 3.5. Alternatively, park in the Candy, where the Offa's dyke crosses the Morda river and walk up. It is a steep climb to the 780ft path but once there it is level and an easy walk.
There are paths above and below the cache location so it is an easy mistake to be on the wrong level - hence the 780ft hint. It is NOT recommended to try and drop down from the upper path - it is VERY steep, loose underfoot with lots of old branches to trip on and brambles - if you are not used to this kind of terrain DONT DO IT.
