GNCFCCB: Hi Everyone,
It has now been just over a month since the event, which does not seem possible; time is just “flying” this year to me. So with that thought sadly it is time to archive this events listing. Lots of found memories!
I want to say Thank You again to everyone who attended and those who did not but still found time to find the temporary caches.
I know I had a great time and I look forward to setting up and helping host next years event.
Thank you to tbruihler who has placed several new permanent caches in the town of Fayette for all Geocachers to find.
Thank you to the Fayette County Tourism Group for co-hosting and helping out with the event.
So Until next year, happy Geocaching and I hope to see you around searching for hidden treasure.

What: Cache the Treasure's of Fayette County
An event cache for individuals, groups, families and more. Designed for all ages and abilities.
Designed for newbies, season vets and anyone inbetween.

When: Saturday, June 11, 2011

Where: Klock's Island Park, 1000 West Water Street (Hwy. 93), Fayette, Iowa

Time: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Send off those who are not taking the GeoCaching 101 Class off GeoCaching, Waymark finding and CITO.

1:30 PM - 1:45 PM
Check out GPS to those who need to use one.
These GPS will be pre- loaded.

1:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Go Out Caching, Waymarking and CITO!
Help will be avaible for those who need it in and around Klock's Island Park. So do stop and ask questions if you have them.

4:00 PM - 4:15 PM
Return to base!
Loaned out GPS must be turned in during this time!
Refresments will be availble.

4:15 PM - 4:30 PM
Draw for door prizes (You must be present to win!)
CITO the area carefully!

4:30 PM = Free to go explore Fayette County more!

A map will be posted prior to the Event of the location of the "temp. cache's".

Additional information will be posted as the event time gets closer so please check back for up dates!

This Event Cache at Klock's Island Park has been pre-aprroved to by the City of Fayette.

The temporary caches that are being placed in the Park and around town in city area's have been pre-approved by the city of Fayette.
