Crafts Traditional Cache

Just a little west to the Crafts area of Modiin where the popular Yishpro center is located lies this site of ruins. A great location exploring for a cache. These are probably remains of an Arab settlement but its roots are going to older times. Known by the name of Al-Kunnisa.
Head to the crafts area of Modiin, to Yishpro center. There is one road entering there either if you drive west from Modiin via 431 or east, from the direction of road number 1 where you get off at the Anava exit, again to road 431. Just before entering the Yishpro center area you will see the ruins on your right. Park near the Paz gas station and walk back on the pavement that is stretched alongside the road you just drove. There is a dirt road going into the field just diverging from the pavement. There is a fence surrounding the area, probably because of cattle that hangs there sometimes. We did not see a real path to the ruins. Just find a location to cross the fence. You can easily slide through it in many places. It is a gentle walk through the thin vegetation although in the summer there might be many thorns around. Wear good shoes and long pants for your comfort and safety. We crossed the fence just at 31.889208,34.958385. This is not guaranteed to be the best place...just one of many depending on the thorns and vegetation.
