The cache is located just off a track leaving Helmsley. Close by is a stone sculpture marking the beginning of the first countryside part of The Cleveland Way.
The Cleveland Way is National Trail starting at the cross in the Market Square, Helmsley and finishing 110 miles later at Filey Brigg.
