Geocache Description:

Here is a letterbox hybrid cache placed in conjunction with the CITO and Geocaching Event for Cub Scout Pack 4048.

These coordinates will lead you to a no motor vehicle sign. Travel on foot fifty-five paces along the trail headed north-west. After you sneak through the small pine trees you will find yourself on another east-west trail. Turn to your left and head west seventy-five paces. On your right you will see the remnants of a tall old tree trunk still standing ten feet tall; on your left is a small pine tree with a fresh deer rub. This will help you know you are still on track. Continue west on the foot trail another 125 paces. On your left you will see the a pine tree, larger than the rest of the ones on this old road, nearly six inches in diameter. Look to the south or left of this pine tree and you will see a large fallen tree. Where the biggest broken branch reaches south you will find the cache.
