Ada Ciganlija Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is a traditional cache in Stone city (popularly known as
Stonehenge because it looks like the real Stonehenge) at the
beginning of Ada Ciganlija.
The cache is a small plastic container, it originally holds a
logbook, a pen and two buttons for trade. To reach the cache, you
will have to climb onto one of the stone sculptures and grab it. Be
careful as there are muggles around and please return the cache
exactly as it was hidden when you found it. Have fun!
Ada Ciganlija is an island on the river Sava which was connected to
the mainland for easier reach and that was the time when a big lake
was made. It is a very popular recreational area and park with
sport facilities, walking and cycling path and it is also a very
popular nightlife area as there are numerous cafes situated on the
lake. Many Belgraders visit the lake to swim and enjoy in the
summer and that's why it is popularly known as Belgrade's
sea.
Use the opportunity to visit Ada Ciganlija and have a stroll around
the lake after finding the cache.
