Geocache Description:

When away from home a great way to find a memorable cache is to look at the “Favorite” votes. You can quickly see the caches others thought were special.

This Cache is NOT at the Listed Coordinates. You must successfully complete the “Challenge” and solve the puzzle below prior to finding, signing log, and logging the final cache. Finds on this cache, which do not have documentation of completing the Challenge will be deleted.

To complete this Challenge, go find 10 caches anywhere in the world, which have an accumulated total of at least 200 Favorite votes. This can be accomplished with any combination such as 6 caches with 30 votes each and 4 caches with 5 votes. But you may only use 10 caches to reach the total of at least 200 Favorite votes. If a cache you target leaves you a little short, you can wait a while hoping it will get more votes from other cachers, or pick out a higher favorite rated cache.

You may use caches previously found (However if it is archived, Favorite votes may sometimes be removed). The Favorite Votes on a cache count the day you log the Challenge final. You MAY use caches previously found.

There are enough Favorite Votes on Michigan Caches to accomplish this Challenge. For those who have ventured further there are some individual caches that exceed 200 votes.

You may use Traditional, Multi, Virtual, Earth, Mystery, Whereigo and Letterbox Caches (No Event, Locationless, or Benchmark). You may use an Archived Cache you previously visited (if it still has enough Favorite Votes), but you may not make a log on a archived cache. You may use up to one (1) cache you have placed, if it is a cache others consider their Favorite.

To document completion of this challenge, in your log provide the GC Code, # of Favorite Votes and Date you found each of the respective 10 caches claimed.

At posted coordinates you will find a Historical sign. Find the last digit of the year the city bought the property this is A, then find the hundreds digit of how much the city paid at auction this is B, subtract the number AB from the last 3 digits of the N coordinate. Now count the number of letters in the name of the Indian Chief whose drawings are stored in the nearby Museum, subtract that number from the last 3 digits of the W coordinate.

We do not want anyone who has completed this challenge to strike out on the final. If you give us notice when you are going to attempt the final, we will verify the final cache is still in place.

There is MaxB’s List of 10 Favorites and then number of votes as of the time we were preparing this Challenge.
