Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.

These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them. U.S. president number thirty was Calvin Coolidge, a Repulican from Vermont. Coolidge was born on the 4th of July in 1872, and died on January 5, 1933. He became president on August 2, 1923 when Warren Harding unexpectedly died in San Francisco. He was in office until March 4, 1929. After completing Harding’s term, Coolidge won the 1924 election by 2.5 million votes over all of his opponents combined. Among many accomplishments during his presidency Coolidge authorized the construction of the Hoover dam and dedicated Mount Rushmore. This may be a fairly tough find. There are 2 small streams to cross while walking to the cache area. The cache is an ammo box which is fairly well hidden. When the cache was place the area was quite wet and muddy. Please be sure that you rehide the cache at least as well as it was hidden when you found it. This cache is located on state gamelands. Be sure to wear orange during hunting season, and obey all gameland rules and regulations.
