The Bells, The Bells! Traditional Cache
niknrich: It looks like this one has gone, as it really should be an easy one to find. We understand that the Foundry are having work done on the roof and guttering so it's possible it has gone in the surveying process, so it's probably best to archive this one now. Thanks to everyone who visited and RIP somloci.

A nano cache placed for the Tribute to Somloci event on 7th May 2011. Somloci (Lori Somlai) was tragically killed at the tender age of 26, in his home country of Hungary on 20th March 2011.
Loughborough is famous for sport, socks and... bells. John Taylor & Co and its predecessors have been making bells since the 14th century. Bells have been cast on this site in Loughborough since 1839, and perhaps the most famous bell they have made is the Great Paul Bell which hangs in St Paul's Cathedral in London. It was cast in 1881 and is the largest in the country. The original casting case from this bell was displayed in the Market Place in Loughborough in summer 2010, and is currently in storage awaiting a permanent location for 2011. The bell foundry has a museum and details of opening times can be found on the link above.
The cache is a nano, and although the terrain is wheelchair accessible, disabled cachers may need assistance to reach the cache itself.
