Getting to Brownsea Island is easy from Poole Quay or Sandbanks
(next to the car ferry to Studland) in the months when Brownsea is
open to visitors. Parking at Poole Quay can be in the multi-storey
car park or at the Thistle Hotel. Parking at Sandbanks is mostly
road parking around Panorama Road or the roads just off it.
This geocache is to be found just under a mile from Brownsea
Quay, the arrival point for all boats.
This geocache is a Brownsea Badge Box – please take out as
many badges as you put in – there should always be 20 badges.
They are general Guide and Scout Badges, not necessarily Brownsea
Badges.
Souvenir Brownsea Badges can be bought at the Trading Post at
the Baden-Powell Outdoor Centre at the campsite.
The cache is on National Trust land, and has been placed with
their knowledge and permission, so please respect the beauty and
uniqueness of this special Island.
It is just off one of the main tracks so take care when seeking
and hiding that other visitors to the Island are not around and
