Geocache Description:

A cache just outside of Newtown to be done at night. You will need a lift up if you are not of above average height, so bring a box or a good friend.

The cache is not on the railway tracks, but in a pedestrian tunnel under the tracks. Please don't try to go on the tracks.

This is a spooky tunnel between Bedford St and Trafalgar Streets. By day, this tunnel is not lit and is dark and spooky.

However, by night, it transforms into a pearly white tunnel of glory.

If you come here after dark, the cache should be an easy find.

However, if you cache during the day, well, you better bring a torch and lots of patience.

The usual caveats about being in dark tunnels alone at night applies, so beware of strangers (and ghosts).

PS. If you do it by day, please remember where it was, and make sure you put it back out of the way because at night, it is easy to spot if left in the open.

PPS. If you don't bring something to stand on, and you can't put it back, please hide it in the guard rail on the roadway to the north of the tunnel and send me a note.
