Half way between Yachats and Waldport at Azalea and Hwy 101 is the turn off to a favorite destination for Coastal residents and visitors as well.
Regretably, the economy got to the point where Mary and Jack had to close the nursery in the Spring of 2012. Believe me, the "coasties" are having real problems with their landscaping and garden supplies!
What began in the early 1950s as an azalea farm has blossomed into the largest show of color on the coast under the guidance of Mary and Jack Eriksen. It is the source of all manner of landscaping and garden plants and YahotsWalker and I visit quite often in the “dry” and “warm” months between our caching trips!
The area cries out for a cache and since we go by so often, it would be easy to keep it up! The container is a 4X4X6 inch camouflaged lock-n-lock.
