Growing up in Sydney through the 70's and 80's there seemed to be a plethora of fun and theme parks around.
Sadly these have slowly vanished over the years. So in memory of those happier days here is my Geocaching tribute to Sydney’s Lost Theme Parks!
Old Sydney Town was opened in 1975 and provided a great glimpse into colonial Sydney. It was operated until 2003 when it closed due to declining use. It is still used by film companies though the
The cache is not accessible when the gates are closed. The caretaker is happy for the cache to remain but that people keep away from the buildings.
