Geocache Description:

This is the only remaining natural rock face of Asterley Rocks. Take a picnic as this is a lovely place to rest and take in the views.
Many thanks to Montgomeryshire wildlife trust for letting us place this cache.

The site is occupied by Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trusts and managed as a nature reserve.
It is also an SSSI.

This is one of a series of 13 caches entitled "Becca's Walk" they will take you through some lovely undulating countryside along Offas Dyke path and other public footpaths crossing Llanymynech Golf course and Llanymynech Quarry. There are some amazing views, a wide variety of plant / wildlife and some nice picnic spots along the way.
Please respect the users of the golf course and be aware that parts of this walk go through a SSSI. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The whole walk is approximately 3.5 miles and should take around 2 hours. It will include some very steep slopes and in places you will be close to some vertical cliffs. Please take care.

There are a few parking areas depending on where you want to start from:
