Fishing in the Forest Traditional Cache

isht kinta: Since the cache owner has not responded to my reviewer log about the cache, nor did they post a note to the cache page telling me and others of their intention to address the issue with it, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to the cache page requesting the cache owner to post a response on what they were planning to do with the cache. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that they are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Geocache Description:

Fishing and fish themed cache located off trail in the newly rebuilt Forest Park.

This cache is located in an overgrown area of the newly rebuilt Forest Park. There are plenty of thorns, insects, and possibly small animals to keep you on your toes. The ammo container contains items which are either used for fishing or are fish themed. If possible, trade with other fish/fishing - themed items.

As there is no trail, be sure to bring a GPS, compass, or some other device to make sure you are able to find your way out. Give yourself at last a few hours of sunlight to ensure you are not stuck in the forest after dark.

Awaiting the FTF is a $9 Walmart gift card which is exactly how much a one-year Louisiana resident fishing license costs. (Licenses can be bought in the outdoor section of most Walmarts.)

Park closes at sundown.
