In honor of the local air show and P-51 Mustangs that are based at the Hollister Airport.
The cache is right in the P-51's flight path if you are lucky enough to visit when they happen to be out flying.
A Little About the P-51 Mustang:
The P-51 Mustang would brilliantly fill the need for a long distance fighter during WW2 in the European Theater. It had the range to equal any bomber and proved mechanically dependable, and was very fast (440 mph at 30,000 feet). The Mustang had plenty of fire power with its standard armament of six.50 caliber browning machine guns.
