Geocache Description:

This cache is a nice and easy walk. Perfect for a day with the family. Cache is located in a busy muggle park. Make sure to take care when retrieving it.

This cache was a birthday gift to me from my family, muggles and cachers alike. We all met up for brunch, where I was expecting to celebrate my birthday. Upon opening gifts, I quickly noticed a theme, all things required for hiding a cache. I was surprised that they had planned a day of caching, hiding a cache, and picnicking with all my favorite things. After finishing our brunch, we all got into our cars to head out and find the perfect hiding spot.

Once at Deer Lake Park, we went for a nice walk along the boardwalk. After some tree climbing, playing on the beach, swinging, and after examining a number of possible locations, the perfect spot was found. By my brother, none the less. I was having too much fun watching everyone else enjoy their experience of caching.

As it’s my birthday, the original contents are mostly comprised of things that were important to me growing up. 30 Plastic Diamonds (my birthstone), 30 Paperclips (I like organizing my papers neatly, and love all school supplies), and 30 nickles. There is also some hotwheels, note pads, bouncy balls, stickers, and much more.

There are also 9 TBs starting out in this cache, one for each of those celebrating with me:
Charles the Racoon (placed by myself, GimliSam)
Monkey See Monkey Do (placed by JJ my husband)
Little Seahorse (placed by Mom, aka Gramma)
Emma the Caterpillar (placed by Emma – my sister for all intense of purpose)
Amy Bunny Grant II (placed by AGII – Emma’s other half)
Cow-sa Drivin’ (placed by Hobbes my godson)
Bugster (placed by Scoobie my godson)
Canadian GeoCoin (placed by hmarsh my brother)
Martin Luther the Penguin (placed by JL my brother’s other half)

Sorry there is no FTF prize. But I hope you all have as much fun finding the cache, as I had celebrating my BIG 3-0 with my family doing something I love.

HAPPY EarthDay to Everyone! And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Me!
