Con quasi 100 abitanti, Tanurza si trova ad un’altitudine di 1.166 m s.l.m..
Ad ovest del paese di S. Pietro di Laion, vicino a Ceves, si trova il paesino di Tanurza. Le cime delle Dolomiti si fanno vedere all’orizzonte e regalano agli escursionisti indimenticabili momenti. La malga di Rasciesa o anche la vicinanza al Parco Naturale Puez-Odle invitano a numerose escursioni a piedi o anche in mountainbike. E anche d’inverno, quando un soffice strato di neve fresca copre il paesaggio, i sentieri e la natura invitano a passare le giornate all’aperto.
Il centro della località è costituito dalla chiesa di S. Bartolomeo. Inoltre, vicino alla chiesa, troviamo anche un grande e vecchio noce, protetto come monumento naturale.

Mit seinen fast 100 Einwohnern liegt der Ortsteil Tanirz auf 1.166 m ü.d.M.
Westlich des Dorfes St. Peter liegt, neben Tschöfas, der Ortsteil Tanirz. Die Gipfel der Dolomiten am Horizont bieten dem Wanderer nicht nur traumhafte Panoramen sondern auch unvergessliche Momente im Herzen der Natur. Die Hochalm der Raschötz oder auch der Nahe Naturpark Puez-Geisler laden zum Wandern und Mountainbiken ein. Und wenn im Winter der Schnee die Landschaft bedeckt, locken Schneeschuh- und Winterwanderungen ins Freie.
Zentrum der Ortschaft bildet die Kirche zum Hl. Bartholomäus. In der Nähe des Gotteshauses steht außerdem ein alter Nussbaum, der als Naturdenkmal geschützt ist.

With almost 100 inhabitants, the locality of Tanurza is located at 1,166 m asl.
In the west of the village of San Pietro, near Ceves, there is the locality of Tanurza. The mountain peaks at the horizon do no only invite hikers to make an advance into the heart of the Dolomites, but also provide special and unforgettable holiday experiences. The high-alpine pasture of the Rasciesa and the nearby Puez-Odle nature park are ideal also for mountain biking. And when snow covers the landscape in winter, you can enjoy snow-shoeing and winter hiking.
The centre of the village is the S. Bartholomew church, in the surroundings of which there is a walnut tree, which is a protected natural monument.
