Geocache Description:

Welcome to 'Cashel Bank to Dookie' - a three part multi cache by treenz.team - our 8th cache hide.

Waypoint 1

Waypoint 1 brings you to Cashel Cemetery. In the corner of the cemetery there is a stone cairn, built from the stones of the church which once stood there.

Answer the following question correctly to get the co-ordinates to find waypoint 2:

In what year was the cairn erected?

If 1972 go to S36 20.555 E145 42.901

If 1958 go to S36 20.478 E145 42.199

If 1966 go to S36 20.985 E145 42.145

Waypoint 2 is approximately a 4 kilometre drive from waypoint 1

Waypoint 2

At Waypoint 2 you will find a tourist information board. Please take time to read the history of this location. You can also enjoy a scenic view from here. You will need to find a magnetic Nano which contains the co-ordinates for the final location.

The final location is approximately 3.9 kilometres from waypoint 2.

Final Location

Now you have reached the final location - please make sure to leave all gates as you find them. Enjoy a walk around the area and then locate the cache.

The cache is a 750ml painted plastic click top container. It contains logbook, swaps and a scratchie for the first to find. It is hidden in the usual way.

Good luck and we hope you enjoyed this small multi cache.
