In the village of Wildhern enter the pathway from the road (Brenda Parker Way footpath) at N 51° 15.429 W 001° 29.755 and follow the short public pathway alongside a field to the left and property to the right. The cache is suitable for travel bugs and geocoins.
A few miles outside of Andover in the parish of Tangley is a small Hamlet called Wilhern, whose name is thought to have come from a combination of 'hern' meaning herod and 'wyld' which meant croft. Other lines of thought are that 'hern' should be linked to something wet such as a lowland area. But it probably derives from 'Wilde Herene' which means a wild corner or 'Wilde Hurne' which meant 'wilderness'.
Quite a narrow footpath - not suitable for wheelchairs.
