Geocache Description:

Adele’s Birthday Caches (ABC)
A geocache to celebrate my birthday, and also to help the people of Coppull to discover Blainscough Woods.

A nano cache...cachers eyes need to be fully peeled for this one.

In actual fact lots of people probably know about Blainscough Woods, maybe it is just me that waits 5 years before actually discovering her local area in enough detail to discover a lovely wooded area practically in her back garden.

I did some history research (god bless Google) and found out that Blainscough means “Blaina’s Wood” and that there was a moat around Blainscough Hall in medieval times, this isn’t far from here if you fancy a quick walk over the bridge.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the cache. It isn’t too tricky – and I take no responsibility for any broken bones acquired when using the rope swing in these woods.
