Geocache Description:

Quick cache and dash looking over the the flag at Bannockburn with the Ochils in the background

Looking North from the cache site you can see the flag pole (and occasionally flag!) in the grounds of the Bannockburn Heritage Centre. Although the actual site of the battle is thought to be a few miles east of here it it still a fitting reminder of Scotland historic past.

There is a history of this flag being 'borrowed' by Scottish football fans and taken to the world cup, although this hasn't been done for a while thanks to our non-qualification!
