Geocache Description:

Cache along the top of Shenley Wood, towards new balancing lakes and retirement village complex.

This cache is in the ancient woodland of Shenley Wood (meaning "bright clearing"), in the west part of Milton Keynes. The woods are over 11,000 years old and amount to some 24 hectares (60 acres). There are 160 different plants in the wood, which have a large number of bluebells, hazel and field maple.

Parking available @ N 52° 00.790 W 000° 48.125

The paths through the wood are paved in wood chips so get softer in wet weather, though you can walk round the wood & balancing lakes on pathways. The cache is slightly off the beaten track, so take care as there can be nettles around.

You are looking for a clip lock lunch box.

Beware that this can be an area frequented by muggles ! Please place the cache back as found.
