Darth Nihilus is one of the most powerful force users in Sith history, it was said that you feel pain when you hear his voice. He was so powerful that he could consume whole worlds to feed his appetite for power, many who came in contact with him became a mindless servant of his will. Darth Nihilus tried to take over the galaxy along with Darth Sion, but they were both killed before they could do so.
