Esta cache mostra-vos um local quase desconhecido e muitas vezes ignorado do concelho de Penacova.
This cache take you to a very unknown place from Penacova.
Estes fornos de cal pertenceram ao Mosteiro de Lorvão. Existem vários núcleos de fornos de cal no concelho de Penacova, a maioria pertencentes ao mosteiro de Lorvão. Este é o maior. A indústria da cal foi durante muitos anos uma das principais riquezas do concelho de Penacova. Mais tarde, já nos séculos XIX e XX, existiram aqui algumas grandes fábricas dedicadas a esta indústria.
These lime kilns once belonged to the Monastery of Lorvão. There are several clusters of lime kilns in the county of Penacova, most belonging to the monastery of Lorvão. This is the greatest one. The lime industry was for many years, one of the main wealths of the county of Penacova. Later, in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, there were here some large factories dedicated to this industry.
A CACHE
A cache é small, contendo logbook, stashnote e alguns objectos para troca. Tenham cuidado ao manusear e deixem tudo como encontraram. O local por vezes é bastante frequentado por isso tenham cuidado para não dar nas vistas.

THE CACHE:
The cache is small, containing logbook, stashnote and some exchange objects. Be careful when handling and leave everything as found. The site is sometimes quite frequented so be careful not to be seen.
