Parkeren kan op N52°13.998‘ E004°49.557’, de startlocatie van de cache.

Midden in de gemeente Uithoorn ligt een 60 hectare groot natuurgebied met als middelpunt het Zijdelmeer, één van de oudste veen-wateren in Hollands laagveen, bestaande uit een moerasbos, ruigte en rietland. Vroeger stond dit natuurgebied in open verbinding met de Amstel, maar tegenwoordig is het een gesloten gebied. In en rond het Zijdelmeer groeien een tal van zeldzame planten, zoals de ratelaar, de echte koekoeksbloem en de rietorchis. Het terrein is tegenwoordig in onderhoudt door Landschap Noord-Holland.

Deze lengte van deze multi-cache is ongeveer 3 km. De route kan wat drassig worden als het veel heeft geregend, houd hier dus rekening mee! Omdat de route door een natuur gebied loopt zijn honden niet toegestaan, ook is deze route daarom alleen maar open tussen zonsopgang en zonsondergang. Verder is belangrijk om op de paden te blijven! Graag de cache net zo achter laten zoals deze is aangetroffen.

Alle gevonden getallen die niet uit 1 decimaal bestaan moeten worden gestapelteld.
Dit is een getal via (eventueel herhaald) optellen van de cijfers herleiden tot een getal van 1 cijfer. Voorbeeld: Het getal 698. Optellen van de cijfers geeft: 23. Optellen van deze cijfers geeft: 5.

De multi-cache begint op het volgende waypoint; N52°13.994’, E004°49.622’ voor het gemeentehuis van Uithoorn. Hier is een curieus kunstwerk te vinden.
Hoeveel druppelvormige uitsteeksels heeft dit kunstwerk? (= A)

De route wordt vervolgd door naar N52°14.0(A+5)’, E004°49.496’.
Sinds wanneer is het Natuurgebied Uithoorn in beheer van Landschap Noord-Holland, stapeltel het jaartal. (= B)

Vanuit hier kan u door het natuurgebied verder gaan, of als er te veel begroeiing is via de weg, naar N52°14.104’, E004°49.33(B+4)’. Het plaatje op het paaltje dat hier staat heeft de volgende kleur:
Geel (C = 3)
Rood (C = 1)
Blauw (C = 2)

Op coördinaat N52°14.24(3*C)’, E004°48.800’ staat een bord met informatie over de omgeving hier, welk nummer is toegewezen aan het Zijdelmeer? (= D, bordje is weg, D = 8)

Bij het volgende waypoint, N52°14.336’, E004°48.D71’, is een nestplaats van een ooievaar te zien, met een beetje geluk broed hier in de lente een ooievaar! Geen vragen bij dit waypoint, de route wordt vervolgd naar coördinaat N52°14.423’, E004°48.(D+1)37’. Hier volgt een mooi moment voor Cache In Trash Out, om het natuurgebied schoon te houden. De kleur van de vuisnisbak:
Geel (E = 0)
Blauw (E = 2)
Rood (E = 4)

Op het volgende waypoint, N52°14.4E5’, E004°49.019’ moet een klein bruggetje worden overgestoken. Over hoeveel planken moet worden gelopen? (= F)

Nu zijn alle gegevens voor de uiteindelijke cache-locatie verkregen! Deze ligt op:
N52°14.(C+E)E(A+3)’, E004°48.(E+F)(C+D)(B-4)’.

Om het rondje Zijdelmeer compleet te maken wordt de route vervolgd naar N52°14.241’, E004°49.342’. Vanuit hier kan naar het startcoördinaat gelopen worden.

At N52°13.998‘ E004°49.557’ you can park your car, at the starting location of the cache.

A nature reserve of 60 hectares is located in the middle of the Uithoorn. The Zijdelmeer is a lake in this nature reserve. This lake used to be in direct connection with the Amstel river, but is now an isolated lake. The area around the Zijdelmeer has a flourishing nature, with some unique flora, such as the Rattle, the Ragged Robin and the Southern Marsh Orchid. The nature reserve is being maintained by Landschap Noord-Holland.

The length of this multi-cache is roughly 3km. The path can get quite muddy after some rain, so take this in account when doing this multi-cache. Dogs are not allowed in the nature reserve. Furthermore, the route is only open from dawn till dusk. It is also important to stay on the track! Please leave the cache as you found it.

The rowsum of all multi-digit numbers must be calculated to get to a single digit number. To do this add up all numbers to you end with one final number. Example: The sum of all numbers in 698, gives 23, of which the sum of the numbers gives 5.

This multi-cache begins at the following waypoint; N52°13.994’, E004°49.622’, in front of the town hall of Uithoorn. A curious piece of art can be found here. How many drop shaped protrusions can you count? (= A)

The next coordinate is N52°14.0(2*A)’, E004°49.505’. Since when is "Natuurgebied Uithoorn" being maintained by Landschap Noord-Holland? Take the rowsum of this year. (= B)

Here you can continue along the path through the nature reserve. If there is too much overgrowth, you can also take the road. Proceed to N52°14.104’, E004°49.33(B+4)’, where you can find a stake in the ground. Which colour does the picture on this stake have?
Yellow (C = 3)
Red (C = 1)
Blue (C = 2)

An sign with information about the surrounding area can be found on N52°14.24(3*C)’, E004°48.800’, though, unfortunately, the text is only written in Dutch. Which number has been assigned to the Zijdelmeer (lake)? (= D, the sign is missing, D = 8)

Near the next waypoint, N52°14.336’, E004°48.D71’, a white stork has made his nest. If you are lucky the white stork is breeding there during spring time! There is no question at this waypoint, so proceed to N52°14.423’, E004°48.(D+1)37’, where you may find a good oppertunity to practice Cach In Trash Out, to keep the nature reserve clean. The colour of the trash bin is:
Yellow (E = 0)
Blue (E = 2)
Red (E = 4)

At the next waypoint, N52°14.4E5’, E004°49.019’, a little bridge spans the water. How many planks must be crossed? (= F)

Now all necessary data to find the final cache location has been collected! The cache can be found at:

To finish the tour around the Zijdelmeer, proceed to N52°14.241’, E004°49.342’. From here you can walk to the starting coordinate.
