Today I loaded up the bike and made a list of a bunch of caches that I planned to grab along this trail. Many on my list were part of the Jar-Jar series by eyeseeit.
Unfortunately, I did not factor in the recent rain and the current level of the Des Plaines River before I came. I knew my day was done when I came to a bridge that was under water and not passable (see below).
In total, I found 6 caches today (only one jar-jar).
Before Leaving, I did find a spot to place a cache and decided to make it a multi. At Stage 1, you need to use your brains and at Stage 2, your muscles (and climbing skills just like a typical eyeseeit hide).
The posted coords will bring you to two signs on a post. The signs are different colors.
Here are the numbers you need to get the coords for the final.
A= The number of letters for the color of the top sign
B= The number of caches I found on the day I hid this cache
C= The number of letters in the word about what you are to do with horses and bikes.
D= The number of letters for the color of the bottom sign.
E= The number of letters in the word that is followed by an exclamation point!!!!!!
F= The number of letters in the word describing the surface
OK...Now for the Math.
Take the posted North coords and add the number you get from this equation:
A x B x C + 17
Take the posted West coords and add the number you get from this equation:
D x E x F - 24
If I did this right, you will now have the correct coords for the final. It is not too far away but be prepared to climb.
