Geocache Description:

This cache is situated in the Outhwaite Park. The Outhwaite family were early settlers in Auckland and were also one of the most influential families of that time. Thomas Outhwaite was the first registrar of the Supreme Court. He took his office from the 1.1.1842 retired 27 years later in June 1869 which was a remarkably long time at the time.

The park was initially the residence of the Outhwaite family, where Louise Outhwaite established a stunning garden with a wide variety of plants. To this day, a couple of old trees can still be found. This Park has public barbecue facilities and a playground.

This is a Nano Cache! Please be stealthy when you search for it. Please provide your coordinates if the location seems to far off.
