This is a puzzle cache that was inspired by one of my students.

One of my favorite things about teaching has always been hearing my students talk about books they love. In a conversation one day with one particular young man, he began telling me about a different sort of story line he was following. This one was written in symbols — symbols that seemed just like decorations adorning the pages to me — but in actuality a hidden code that he had taught himself to read.

Thanks to _ _ _ _ _ _ (name omitted purposely), I not only found a good read, which many of my other students have enjoyed as well, but of course, located the perfect idea for a caching puzzle too!

What's the title? Who's the author? Well, I'm not immediately telling. Just like the main character had to, you now have a script to decode. He ultimately converted it; but can you??




This cache is placed within Sweet Run State Park land, which is managed by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. Please take the time to enjoy finding these caches but also respecting the land which they allow us to explore.
