Geocache Description:


** 1/24 Update: The area in which this cache is placed used to be called Blue Ridge Center but as of May 26, 2023, it is now Sweet Run State Park! As such, the links and text below have been updated accordingly. **

Sweet Run State Park has about 10 miles of walking paths to wander, but this is a cache placed at a great spot to just stop, relax and take in a nice view. Placed along the edge of Demory Field and along the Birds of a Feather Trail (an interpretive bird trail) from this vista you can enjoy a view of Mountain View Farm and the surrounding mountains, in this local area known as Between the Hills.



In fact, if you stop by the center's office, you can even check out a naturalist pack, which is equipped with the tools necessary (binoculars, field guide, trail map, suggested activities & sketching materials) to enjoy a bit of bird watching while out and about!
