Geocache Description:


My dad has been along for some of my caching adventures and thought this would be a great place for a cache. He walks the dog in the area frequently and watches the progress of the new north/south freeway from here. This is my first hide so please enjoy!

Update 2/18/13: Spring cleaning on the cache completed along with a new log sheet. I'll be moving to Anchorage soon so Dad will be keeping an eye on "his" cache for me!

Update 8/25/12: The cache can not be reached from the biking/walking trail along the freeway without going a long way around (a mile maybe) from the Pittsburg St trail entrance to the east. The freeway section below is now open!
