NENE 2 Mystery Cache

*This is a two stage multi type cache using a Chirp beacon device at the first stage. It requires a Chirp Enabled GPSr unit that has the latest firmware and supports chirp detection. If you have any questions about which units can be used to find this cache, please contact me.
The Nene Goose is the official bird of the state of Hawaii. What does that have to do with caching in Indiana? Ever since Thanksgiving of 2010, we have heard the call of the Nene....Nene, Nene, Nene....
You might have found a location in the Monticello City park that if you sat down and listened closely, you too could hear the call of the Nene. Now the Nene has reproduced and has migrated to Lafayette and you can certainly see and heard the call of the Nene here as well!
The posted coordinates will take you to an area of the park where you should be able to hear the Nene tell you where to find the second stage of this cache. At the second stage you will find a micro sized cache container with a log book and some swag.
Only when you put your signature on the logbook will you be able to claim this as a smiley. There is nothing physical to find or sign at the first stage posted coordinates. Please don't spend time looking at the first stage, just walk around near the coords and you should pick up the info needed.
