Geocache Description:

A camo click and lock box situated near the a popular outdoor centre.
Free parking nearby and a short walk to the cache.
Ground is fairly level but probably not suitable for all wheelchairs as their is some rough terrain to negotiate.

Prior to becoming a professional downhill mountain bike racer, Jason McRoy was a leading BMX racer.
His home 'turf' was the BMX track near Whickham where he practiced his sport every single day when he wasn't racing. Many of the more radical features of the track have been dumbed down for the safety of the everyday rider, but the track is still in a very rideable condition.

The track was host to part of the international BMX race series, where several international riders competed around the country in a televised race series.

The cache is placed within hailing distance of the 'triples'; a tricky three-humped section of the track that took exceptional skill to ride quickly.
