This cache was placed as I was exploring the paved trail just south of GZ. I sometimes work out of the office that is the red brick building to the southwest of GZ (also a good spot for parking). I walked back here and discovered a dead end. A strange ending for a strange, paved trail. It is nice, though, for the local workers to get some exercise during their breaks.
As a side note, the building I referred to working in is actually a cellular switch. This is where all your calls go after entering the network through the antenna towers. It is one of many nerve centers processing all your texting and web surfing on your nifty smart phones. This one in particular is an Iden switch, which is the old Nextel network, so if you are using a Nextel phone (not many out there anymore, unless you like direct connect) your calls may go through here.
Anyway, I followed a bit beyond the dead end to make the hide. There is still a bit of a trail to follow, although not as nice as the paved blacktop one. Bring a writing utensil. I didn't have one to leave in my container, although there is room for items.
