Geocache Description:

Short hike above Lower Dog Run Reservior.

Cache is located above the Lower Dog Run Reservoir in Salem. But it's on THAT side. Best access is to walk across the dam (parking located just past dam). When you get to the spillway, do NOT try to cross the beams. Walk around the left side of the spillway. It may be a bit damp, but much easier. Cache is a smaller lock and lock type container, hidden in a rather odd location for being in the woods. Not totally comfortable with the coordinates as Mr. GPS was not terribly cooperative, but if you get close, you'll be just fine.
