Geocache Description:

The first night cache we ever attempted was Koikeeper’s Bleeding Fish (GC17KJQ) . At dusk, on a beautiful summer’s evening, we apprehensively set out with the Nuttier Caching Nut, not sure of what to expect. We wound up having a fun time laughing and stumbling around the trails, looking for those elusive fire tacks. We learned a lot that evening – Mrs. ZB is not good at night caches, you will find every spider web in the forest, you should invest in a powerful flashlight and always carry extra batteries. We eventually got to meet Koikeeper and ImpalaBob and now consider them two of our favorite caching friends.

The purpose of this very simple cache is to bring you and your family to the newly opened 2-mile section of the Saucon Rail Trail. You are looking for a “black as night” bison tube. Muggles are everywhere. Please be stealthy and rehide as well as, or better than, found.

Official parking is at N 40° 32.287 and W 75° 23.240. If you park on Landis Mill Road or Spring Valley Road, you are liable to be ticketed or your car may be hit. And please obey all posted trail rules. Trail and park open dawn to dusk. No night caching.

All caches placed along this trail require PADCNR Geocache ID forms to be filed with the appropriate Township Board. Permission has been granted for this cache.
