How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Appledon is one of our favorite caching acquaintances. He truly amazes us. He is out there caching almost every day, rain or shine, seeking those smilies. Not much stops him, even a broken hip! We hope we are still caching when we reach his age! Hats off to you, Don. Keep on caching!

The purpose of this very simple cache is to bring you and your family to the newly opened 2-mile section of the Saucon Rail Trail. You are looking for, what else, an apple-red bison tube. Cache is no more than 15’ off the trail. Muggles guaranteed! Please be stealthy and re-hide container as well as, or better than, found.

Official parking is at N 40° 32.287 and W 75° 23.240. If you park on Landis Mill Road or Spring Valley Road, you are liable to be ticketed or your car may be hit. Please obey all posted trail rules. Trail and park open dawn to dusk. No night caching.

All caches placed along this trail require PADCNR Geocache ID forms to be filed with the appropriate Township Board. Permission has been granted for this cache
