Clearwater Cache - CCARS11 Traditional Cache
Cachin8r: I walked in the area and confirmed that the cache is about 10 metres into the river. The bank nearby was already eroding from constant water flow, but now the area is more dangerous. It is not worth replacing, in my opinion. Sorry for taking so long.

This cache has been placed for the CCARS11 event, held April 30-May
1, 2011. This cache was released to the public on either April
25th* or April 28th, 2011. (*Earlier release date for puzzle
caches) The cache should not be located prior to 12-noon, Saturday
30th April, 2011. The caches for the CAR event are released early
so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their
routes prior to the event start.
The cache is an 'in plain sight cache' with forest camouflage tape.
Unfortunately with my mac, it's different than a PC and also more finicky, so I set the icon as the background. The container itself is a larger peanut butter container. Just watch your step for barbed wire on the ground!
There is public parking available, just go west on Highway 8 and turn right at lott creek boulevard/range road 25. Just go straight and parking is at the end. Enjoy!
