Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small clip lock box near St Edmund's Church in Fritton.

St Edmund Church in Fritton is a Norman, round towered, thatched church. Unusually for a Norman church it has an apse. The chancel is strangely offcentre of the nave - when the nave (but not the chancel!) was widened, the original north wall was retained and the other wall rebuilt about three metres further south!

Fabulous wall paintings are throughout the interior. Well worth a visit. The church is open every day.

The cache is a small box inside a camo bag containing a log book and pencil and, at the time of re-placing, a few swapables. Room for small TBs and GCs and a few small swapables. Happy hunting!

This is one of the Church Micro series. If any body would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list

Parking for a couple of cars is available just outside the gate to the churchyard.
