A tribute cache to a fallen LEO, Warden R Lyle Frost. Warden Frost was blowing up a beaver dam here on July 1, 1968 when he lost his life. Cache container is a lock'n'lock, please place it back as found. Swag includes a few badges, a lighthouse, some kids stuff and a couple of TB's!
The entire area around Scammon Pond is now part of the R Lyle Frost Wildlife Management Area. A boat launch for canoes and kayaks can be found here now near the concrete damn that keeps the pond at a relatively steady level.
