This cache is part of a series. Once you get to GZ you will know what N.V.F.D.3. is. There may be a few muggles around at times. Use stealth. Me and three more fellow Geocachers are members here. Have fun !!!
Napoleonville Volunteer Fire Department Station 3 is located just across Bayou Lafourche from the Village of Napoleonville. Our Fire Department has been established in Napoleonville for a long time. Some records indicate the formation of the Napoleonville Fire Company No.1 on Mach 5, 1878. Additional records indicate the formation of Napoleonville Hook & Ladder Company on June 1, 1901. However, this station was built in 1999 because we outgrew our station in town.
Peek inside the station to get a glimpse of Rescue 17, Engine 18 and Ladder 19. These are our newest apparatus and are the pride of our fleet of 6 apparatus.
