A simple puzzle cache to honor one of North Carolina famous WWII war correspondents. He was born about 1 mile from this location. The coordinates will bring you to a state historical marker honoring this hero.
To get the final location
North coordinates: take the last two digits from the year of his birth and subtract it from the last three digits of the posted North coordinates.
West coordinates: subtract 60 from the last two digits of the year he died. Take that number and add it to the last three digits of the posted west coordinates.
