On February 26, 2009 long time Wilsonville resident Terry Lowrie passed away at his Charbonneau home. He was 66 years old. The Lowrie name is synonymous with Wilsonville - and Terry's contribution to our community are numerous.
He is the former co-owner of Lowrie's IGA in Wilsonville with his brother Wayne.
Albertsons - which now stands in its place - has a banner above the store in remembrance of Terry. Terry helped out Wilsonville for years in so many ways through his service and donations to charitable organizations such as the Kiwanis Club and small businesses.
