Geocache Description:

This is the Bonus Cache......an Ammo Can......for FD's Trail.


The original cache was well stocked including a new bison tube cache which was the prize for the FTF.....the cache now contains a good variety of quality swops. .

Above are pictures of four river features, similar examples can be found along the River Nene, you need to identify the type of river feature and the order in which they appear above from the list below. Once you have done that you will have a letter for your answer A, B, C or D.
Along FD's Trail inside the lids of five of the caches are the real co-ordinates that need substituting from the dummy co-ordinates above, you only need to find one of the five to get to the Bonus Ammo Can. Be warned there are co-ords for A,B,C and D so ensure you are happy with your answer.

Please note the final co-ords start with N52 and W000 the rest of the info is on the lids.

A. Oxbow, Weir, Strainer, Eddy

D. Oxbow, Strainer, Weir, Eddy

Please note, if you retrieved the Co-ords from one of the FD's Trail caches prior to 27/04/2011....then you will have to revisit one of the caches to get the new co-ordinates for this Rehabilitated Bonus....The previous one was a rule breaker I'm ashamed to say!

FD's Trail will take you along some of the Footpaths and Byways in the Nene Valley near to Earls Barton. The trail runs parallel to the River Nene incorporating some lakes that were formed from previous sand and gravel extraction, and also incorporates an old green lane that is popular for off road 4x4 drivers.

FD's Trail will give you the opportunity to find 12 Traditional Caches, 2 short Multi's, and a Bonus Puzzle cache. It doesn't matter if you can't find them all as long as you have fun trying.

The Trail includes 10 different types of cache container covering all the size types except large, ranging from a small nano to a large Ammo can. Some of the caches are easy finds others are a little more testing.....so please pay attention to the cache rating and only attempt those which you are comfortable with.
