Close by the roadferry Kornhallsleden located on the Island of Hisingen.

Från Trafikverkets historieskrivning:
"Kornhallsleden, som går mellan Harestad och Hisingen (länsväg 570) registrerades 1874 och drevs på entreprenad fram till 1945 när Väg & Vatten tog över driften. Eftersom vägen via färjan i Kornhall väsentligt förkortade resvägen till Göteborg kom trafiken att öka oerhört och 1951 satte man in den första motordrivna färjan på leden."

Idag trafikeras leden av linfärjan Gerd som 2004 ersatte färjan Kornelia.
